Once in a Lifetime Estate Sale: Founders of KWIK KOPY

Bud Hadfield loved the majestic bald eagle.
 
The founder of the multimillion-dollar Kwik Kopy Printing Corp. had photographs, prints, paintings and statues of the birds around his office and his Tomball home. He sized them up by the looks in their eyes.
 
"The fiercer the look, the better," said Steve Hammerstein, president and CEO of the International Center of Entrepreneurial Development, which Hadfield started. "And that's basically how he attacked life — with the same fierceness an eagle attacks its prey. He lived a full, complete, exhausting life."
 
Hadfield, 87, died at his Tomball home of heart failure after being ill for several months, family members said.
 
Alexander Appraisal and Estate Services are liquidating the contents of his home in a massive estate sale this Thursday through Saturday.
 
Deborah Alexander is hosting the sale.  She says, “This is a once in a lifetime estate sale.  You just don’t see estates of this caliber very often.”
