Containing: One prong set oval standard brilliant cut natural blue sapphire, measuring 7.95 x 5.38 x 3.65mm, 12% bulge factor, approximate weight of 1.45ct., clarity is eye clean, type II, medium, moderately strong, violetish blue color, (GIA vB 5/4), cut is fair. The stone tested 1.77/1.78 for refractive index. Stone tested as double refractive. Heat treatment is a common and accepted practice for the enhancement of sapphire.
