Agua Caliente Cultural Museum is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that preserves, interprets, and provides access to the history and culture of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians and other Cahuilla peoples.

The museum is now a repository for artifacts and memories of the city's African American past and offers a broader look at the roles African Americans have filled in law, medicine, science and other fields.

We currently have in our exhibit area approximately 150 items, including early photographs, local news clippings, a book collection, campaign and presidential memorabilia, and miniature statues of LBJ by artists Larry Ludtke and Jimilu Mason.

Collections include: turn-of-the-century photographs, antique furniture, glassware, letters, diaries, documents, and artifacts.

The Barry County Museum exhibits a wide range of items on a rotating basis related to the historical and cultural identity of the Ozarks and Barry County.

Historical exhibits include portraits of prestigious St. Joseph citizens of the time, a timeline of the growth of St. Joseph in the 1800s, the Civil War in St. Joseph, and Jesse James.

The extensive exhibits at the museum are based on the timeline of Callaway County history.
