The mission of the American Merchant Marine Museum is to educate and inform visitors about the American merchant marine, in an organized learning center for both the regiment, and the public at large, to promote public interest and understanding of our nation's merchant marine and to collect, preserve and exhibit historic al items that exemplify our nation's rich seafaring heritage.
