The museum is the "Showplace for Saddlebreds". Located on the grounds of the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, the American Saddlebred Museum is an exciting destination. Inside, visitors learn the important role the ASB played in our nation's history, and how he has evolved into the beautiful and versatile breed we know today. The Museum features special exhibits that change each year as well as our permanent exhibit and award winning theater show. The American Saddlebred Museum houses the largest collection of Saddlebred artifacts in the world. In our archives can be found trophies, photographs, tack and artwork, including one of the most extensive collections of George Ford Morris Saddlebred paintings in existence. Our library contains over 2,400 volumes used by our members for bloodline and genealogical research. The Museum serves as a resource to the Saddlebred industry while educating visitors about the beauty, versatility, and history of the American Saddlebred horse.
