Description
Bergstrom-Mahler Museum (BMMOG) has four stellar glass collections, antique and contemporary paperweights, Germanic drinking vessels, Victorian-era glass and an ever-expanding collection of contemporary glass sculpture. BMMOG also hosts temporary glass exhibitions and offers glass art classes for kids and adults, lectures and discussions and live glass blowing demonstrations during special events in the autumn. The museum opened in 1959 and is accredited by the American Association of Museums (AAM). As 1 of 16 AAM accredited institutions in Wisconsin, Bergstrom-Mahler Museum is recognized for its commitment to excellence, accountability, high professional standards and continued institutional improvement.
