Mission The California Surf Museum serves as an international repository and resource center on the lifestyle sport of surfing through capturing, preserving, and chronicling its art, culture and heritage for the education and enjoyment of future generations. Description CSM was founded in 1986 and continues to be a leader in surfing museums. With rotating exhibits, wonderful events, and a Museum Store filled with local and unique items, there is something for everyone- surfer and non-surfer alike. CSM exists with the support of donors, members, and other generous people. If you would like to donate, please don't hesitate to contact us. We feel strongly that this is YOUR museum.
