Description

The Cordova Historical Society (CHS) and the City of Cordova work cooperatively to assure the continued preservation of the area's history and heritage. Together, CHS and the Cordova Historical Museum collect artifacts from the Cordova, Copper River, Kennecott, Katella, and adjacent Prince William Sound areas. CHS owns the collection and the City owns the museum facility in which the collection is held. The City also provides staff to manage the museum.
