Description
The Forney Museum of Transportation is a one-of-a-kind collection of over 500 artifacts relating to the history of transportation. It began with antique cars, but soon expanded to include vehicles of all kinds. Some of these are familiar, while others spark the imagination. When you visit you will be treated to a paradise of automobiles, trains, bicycles, wagons, motorcycles, carriages and so much more! Home to one of eight surviving Union Pacific "Big Boy" steam locomotives, Amelia Earhart's first car, the one-of-one Martin Air Car and the Timme Vintage Motorcycle Collection. Also featured are rotating exhibits which change every 3 months, having recently displayed Corvettes, Studebakers, Model 'A's, etc. Visit the website for a list of current and upcoming exhibits.
