Description
The Mid Atlantic Air Museum, located at the Reading Regional Airport (Spaatz Field) was organized to ensure the professional stewardship of a collection that reflects the history of aviation and to enhance the public's appreciation and understanding of that history. The Museum's collection emphasizes the Mid-Atlantic region's unique contribution to flight, but is broad enough to chronicle a general history of aviation, including military aviation. Museum aircraft are regularly seen on the air show circuit. The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum's World War II Weekend has become the premier event of its kind. The Museum provides speakers, tour guides, and other educational services to the community, works with the Civil Air Patrol and other educational organizations, and participates in a variety of other educational activities. During the spring through fall, rides in the Museum's North American SNJ and Boeing N2S Stearman, are a popular attraction. We cordially invite you to become a Member of the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum. Membership is simplicity itself - one small annual dues fee entitles members to full participation in all of the Museum's activities.
