Description
Mid-West Tool Collectors is the World's Largest Tool Collecting Organization. We are a non-profit organization devoted to Studying, Preserving, and Sharing Knowledge of Tools. We have a membership that totals approximately 3,500 and reside in all 50 states, Canada, Australia, and the European Union. Our members have provided assistance to museums and historical sites including Mount Vernon, Colonial Williamsburg, and the Smithsonian with their tool collections and trades displays. Many of our members have written books and articles related to tools. If you have read a book, tool type study, or most any other publication regarding old tools, chances are good that one of our members wrote it or contributed to it. Our members are able to meet locally at about 40 meetings held around the country and throughout the year, called Area meetings. Twice a year larger National Meetings are held in various central locations. Please take a tour of our website, and we hope to see you at a meeting soon!
