Description

Located at the base of the Tram at Cannon Mountain, the Museum opened its doors in 1982. Our current exhibit is "From Pastime to Enterprise: Skiing Becomes a Business" and includes five Olympic medals won by Bode Miller. We also offer free satellite exhibits at Bretton Woods Mountain Resort, the Interval Rest Area on Routes 16 & 302, and at the Eastern Slope Inn in North Conway. The Museum hosts several events each year, including the Annual Hannes Schneider Meister Cup Race at Cranmore in March, the Bretton Woods Nordic Marathon in March, an Exhibit Opening Party in June, the Annual Meeting and Spirit of Skiing Award each fall, and an Apres-Ski Social at the Museum in December.
