Description
Fire Buffs, Firefighters and everyone who loves Fire Trucks - this is the place for you. The Oklahoma Firefighters Museum has 13 antique fire trucks that have been restored. These include fire trucks from a 1902 Water Tower to a 1940 American LaFrance 85' Aerial used in Enid, OK. Also, on display is a 1920 Stutz with a solid brass engine block. The first Fire Station in Oklahoma Territory is inside the museum as well as a working 1900 Gamewell Fire Alarm System. Hand-drawn equipment as well as a horse-drawn steamer are on display in the Great Hall. Most of this equipment was donated from Oklahoma Fire Departments or folks who were very involved with the Fire Service.
