Description
The Self Storage Association of South Carolina Inc., a non-profit organization was formally reorganized 2012. The original purposes of the Association were outlined as follows: To unite the membership in a non-for-profit association of persons, partnership, corporations, limited liability companies, real estate investment trusts and other entities actively engaged in or interested in, the self storage business; To develop and encourage high standards of business conduct by those engaged in the self storage industry; To develop through research, discussion and exchange of information, better standards for the development and operation of self storage facilities; To provide a forum for the education of association members, self storage owners/operators and of the general public; To provide opportunities for members to increase their knowledge of self storage business and to improve their individual capabilities; To provide leadership on issues of concern to members of the Association; To do any and all things that are lawful and appropriate to further these purposes which are found necessary or convenient as permitted by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
