General Terms of Sale:
- Refundable $100 Cash Deposit Required
- Payment: Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover
* Purchases must be paid for before you leave the premises for Any Reason.
* Note: EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) may be considered on case by case basis, only for exceptionally large purchase amounts and in such cases, a $20 bank processing charge will apply if amount owed is less than $10,000.00 and a minimum Cash Deposit of 5% of total invoice must be paid on Day of Auction and transfer must be No Later Than Noon on the first business day following auction.
Purchases in excess of $10,000.00 will be requested to be made by EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) and in such case, the bank processing fee will be waived and a Cash Deposit of 5% of total invoice must be paid on Day of Auction and transfer of the remainder must be No Later Than Noon on the first business day following auction.
- 12% Buyers Premium. A 2% Buyer Premium Discount will be given for invoices paid in full with Cash or in accordance with EFT terms, as outlined above.
- Vehicle Registrations must be transfered within 2 business days, through the County Tax Assessors office and prior to removal of ANY Vehicle. Vehicles not transferred and/or claimed, as required, will be considered abandoned (i.e. no refunds). Proof of Transfer must be presented prior to removal of vehicle. Dealers must present valid documents with license number for the type of vehicle to be purchased, at time of registration.
- Dealers: If you are purchasing items that will be used by you or your business, you must pay sales tax, as required by state law. Only items that are to be resold, can be purchased tax-exempt. You are required to provide a Properly Completed Tax Resale Certificate at time of registration or you will be charged sales tax. Absolutely NO Exceptions
- ALL SALES FINAL. - Merchandise is sold "AS-IS, WHERE IS" with NO Warranties or Guarantees Expressed or Implied.
- REMOVAL: No Removal of Items will be allowed During Auction.
* Items may be removed on the day of sale, AFTER the completion of auction (until 5PM) and between 8am-3pm on Monday (4/28/14) & Tuesday (4/29/14) and except as otherwise announced or approved by school authorities, all items must be removed No Later Than 3pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2014.
* Buyers responsible for all loading & removal of goods.
* Buyers are responsible for providing their own manpower, tools for any disassembly required and any necessary equipment required for removal.
* Any items that are not removed by the Time and Date indicated, will be considered abandoned and buyer may be held responsible for any disposal/removal costs of unclaimed goods.
- Security: Buyers are responsible for the security of their items won.
* Auction Company and/or Seller is not responsible for damage, theft or other loss of any item sold, either during or after the sale.
* Buyers are strongly encouraged to remove items and/or group items together at the completion of auction if returning to pick-up, as items may get moved by others in their effort to remove their items.
- As any item may be found to be of use to any other department in the school district prior to the auction, any items advertised may be subject to withdrawal without further notice at the sole discretion of TCISD.
- Announcements made at auction take precedence over all other terms and advertisements.
