May 1 - June 10, 2016 - The Wright Museum will showcase FORTY NEW Charles Miller paintings in this exhibition. These works are part of the six hundred paintings Charlie created more than seventy years ago; vivid depictions that bear witness to the everyday life of the servicemen who fought in the South Pacific. They are powerful works of art full of wonderful color and skilled draftsmanship with dramatic action and keen observation. And, they are significant historical documents with Charlie’s insightful, direct and sometimes funny perspective of events that helped shape our nation and the world.
