Paintings by George A. "Frolic" Weymouth

April 29, 2016 - June 7, 2016 - A special exhibition in memory of the late founder of the Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art will be on view, in half of the Andrew Wyeth Gallery, marking the first time paintings by the two artists are displayed together. .George A. "Frolic" Weymouth was a visionary conservationist, philanthropist, highly talented artist and accomplished sportsman. His tireless work for nearly 50 years helped the conservancy grow from its initial preserved 47 acres to a total of more than 62,000 (and growing), and the museum to become renowned for its collection of Wyeth and American Art.
