January 30 - May 22, 2016 - The largest exhibit featuring flying reptiles ever mounted in the United States, Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs, highlights the latest research by Museum scientists and leading paleontologists around the world. Featuring rare pterosaur fossils and casts from Italy, Germany, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Brazil, as well as life-size models, videos, and interactive exhibits, visitors will be immersed in the mechanics of pterosaur flight. The motion sensor-based interactive exhibit enables visitors to “pilot” two species of pterosaurs through virtual prehistoric landscapes.
