The exhibition marks the completion of an expansive project to contribute over 400 digital images to a decade-old collaborative digital library of over 15,000 drawings, prints, and photographs depicting historic images of Connecticut.
This exhibition draws from the collections of ten partner institutions to present some of the most renowned depictions of Connecticut in art from the eighteenth to the twentieth centuries. This exhibition, highlighting the state’s role in the development of American landscape painting.
