Amberina Definition
Amberina is decorative, two-toned glassware developed by Joseph Locke.in or about 1883, and produced steadily until 1900. Today, the glass is most notably produced by the Libbey Glass Company in Toledo, Ohio. Amberina is a mixture of amber glass and gold. It develops distinctive two-tone golden amber to deep red through a process of cooling and reheating the materials together.
