Antiques speak refers to special language and terminology used in antique trade or antique markets. Such antique industry specific terms have particular meaning within the antique industry and may not be well understood outside the industry. They are generally coined by people in the industry and are commonly used when referring to antiques. For eg, "Marriage" means a piece of furniture made out of two period pieces which did not start life together.
