Bookbinding is the process and craft of arranging sheets of paper in the required order and keeping them together by sewing or by using adhesive. In Medieval times, the binds were gilded and jeweled. With computerization, bindings are done by high speed machines. However, individual craftsmen are still engaged in hand binding. They usually undertake custom jobs, rebinding and restoration works.
