Buck Rogers was the first American science fiction comic strip. Many collectible items engraved the character owing to its popularity.  The fictional character named Buck Rogers made its first appearance in a 1928 novel “Armageddon 2419 A.D.” by Philip Francis Nowlan. It was adapted to a comic strip, which started in 1929 and continued until 1967. Buck appeared not only in comic books, but also in movies, in 1980s television series.
