Calendaring is a finishing process commonly used for giving a finishing effect to cloth, paper, or plastic film. This is done by folding the fabric or the material to be smoothened lengthwise with their edges stitched together and made to run between pressured rollers. It gives the material a smooth and shiny finish. Super calendaring gives more polished finish.
