Color is an element of art along with form and line. The light striking at an object reflects back in the eye producing color. Hue, value and intensity are the three properties of color. Hue is the name given to the color and value refers to the relative brightness or darkness of the color. Intensity, the third property is the vividness or strength of the color. In a color wheel, the colors appear in three groups – primary, secondary and tertiary.
