Dedham Definition
Dedham Pottery was established in 1895. In 1872, Chelsea Keramic Art Works at Chelsea in Massachusetts was commenced by the Robertson family. The company was restructured as Chelsea Pottery U.S. which later became the Dedham Pottery of Dedham of Massachusetts. The company gained reputation for crackleware dishes which pictured outlines of animals, flowers, and other natural motifs in blue color. The company put a full stop to its operations in 1943.
