Ganesha Definition
Ganesha refers to the Hindu deity who is the remover of obstacles and portrayed as elephant-headed. Ganesha is a popular figure in Indian art. Artwork depicts him in a wide variety of poses and scenes. While beginning any new endeavors, he is appeased with rituals to remove any obstacles that may come in the way of its success. He is the son of Lord Shiva and Parvathi. Ganesha is good-natured and great strength is attributed to him.
