Gesture is a non-verbal communication as it not vocal. Feelings or ideas or messages are communicated using body movements. It may be through eyes, facial movements, limbs or any other body parts. Gestures are used in place of verbal communication or in conjuction with verbal communication. Meaning of gestures may be different from culture to culture. And a particular gesture may be offensive in one culture but not in others.
