Hatpin Holders Definition
Hatpins had become widely popular when music hall actresses started wearing large intricate hats without bonnet strings. Normally, a large and heavy hat warranted the use of special long-shanked pins to hold it firmly. A hatpin holder looks like a large saltshaker without an opening at its bottom. Hatpins holders are usually designed using ceramics and metal. The hatpin holders were also designed by resorting to the Art Nouveau Style.
