Hazardous refers to something which possesses an element of risk or danger. Acids, adhesives like epoxy and formaldehyde resins, pigments, and solvents are examples of substances of some materials used in art which are hazardous. The Labelling of Hazardous Art Materials Act requires all art materials in United States to label long term health hazards present in them.
