Heuristic is a process or method by which a person learns about a particular concept through discovery that result from inquiries made by that person. This technique involves a practical methodology which is sufficient for arriving at immediate goals and not deemed to be optimal and perfect method. Though it is not a perfect method, it is a rapid process for arriving at a suitable result. Heuristic process makes use of intelligent guess works rather than systematic theories or formulae.
