Intimisme refers to the domestic interior scenes that were painted by Pierre Bonnard and Edouard Vuillard, two French Artists from the 1860s. The main peculiarity was that though both of their styles were entirely different but much of it depended upon the style of coloring and the deviation from the naturalism of the Nabis.
