Lefton refers to the pottery, glass, porcelain and other products imported into US by George Zoltan Lefton Company. The popular Lefton pieces include head vases, figurines, tea pots, cookie jars and shakers. The pieces are labeled differently as “Made in Occupied Japan”, “Lefton’s Exclusives Japan”, “Reg. U.S. Pat. Off” and “Trade Mark.” But the labels are of little help in dating a piece.
