MZ Austria refers to the mark made by Moritz Zdekauer on the porcelains he made. The factory was located in Altrolau, Austria from 1884 to 1909. When the firm was purchased by Hutschenreuther, the mark changed to MZ Alteolau. The pieces had over glazed decoration of gold and floral patterns. The MZ Austria porcelains include bowls, vases, biscuit jars, toilet sets and other products.
