Phoenix Bird Definition
The word Phoenix in Greek mythology means a bird that is believed to reborn or regenerated. It is believed per the mythology that the bird arise from the ashes of the predecessor to obtain a new life. The bird looks like a Turkey so it is also known as Flying Turkey. The images of this bird is depicted in Asian porcelains and few blue and white kitchenware produced during the period of World War was given the name Flying Phoenix. Most of these were dinnerware and were produced in Japan.
