Primer is a coating applied directly to the surface of a wall or a sealing before paint is applied. This gives the surface a good finishing and bond. It also makes the ground effective for further painting. This process of applying a layer of undercoating is known as priming the surface. Applying primer is also a procedure while doing makeup with cosmetics.
