Riveting Definition
Riveting or rivet is a bolt which is metallic which has a head on one end. The head is put into the holes that are aligned in two pieces of metal and then joined by hammering to a pointed end which is later flattened. This narrow end acts as the second head of the pin. Riveting is the process of connecting two pieces of metal sheets with the help of pins or rivets by beating and pressing down one end of the rivet by hammering.
