Satyr refers to demi – god of Greek and Roman mythology. The early Greek depiction of Satyr is half human with horse like ears and tails. The Roman mythology represents Satyr as half man and half goat. Considered to be companions of wine god Dionysus (Bacchus), the Satyr is noted for lasciviousness.
