Shabtis, also termed as Shabtiu, Shabty, Shawabti or Ushabti refers to small figurines placed in the tombs of ancient Egyptians. They are considered as servants of the deceased who would do heavy jobs for their master in his after- life. Shabtis form part of ancient Egyptian antiques displayed in museums all over the world.
