The most renowned Silver-Argentinean is the tea straw and tea gourd container popularly known as 'Mate' used to drink 'Yerba Mate.' The tea is drunk using a metal or wooden straw called bombilla. Most of the mate is made of hammered silver bottom and etched with floral or animal designs in silver.
