'Analytic' or 'analytical' is a term related to analysis or analytics. Analytics means the identification and communication of the basic principles or elemental parts of a data. The term 'analytic' refers to the act of separating something into constituent elements and acting or reasoning from a view point of the parts and their relationship between each other.  In art, the term 'analytic' is also associated with simple version of 'analytic' forms related to collage.
