Argy Rousseau Definition

It refers to a glass art made by French glass artist Gabriel Argy-Rousseau. The impressed mark in his art objects that were mostly Art Deco Style bore G. Argy-Rousseau. In 1921, he formed a joint venture that made pate-de-verre and other glass. During Great Depression, by 1931 it was closed due to financial trouble. Later, he opened his own studio and made enamelled glass. He worked until 1952 and died in 1953. Argy-Rousseau was an inventor and a skilled glassmaker.
