Coors refer to a pottery ware designed by Coors Porcelain Company of Golden, Colorado. This company was established with the aid of Coors Brewing Company. In 1910, John Herold started the Herold China and Pottery Company. In the beginning, the company designed dishes during the end of the century. With the commencement of the Second World War, the company stopped the production of non-essential wares. For the U.S. military, they started producing porcelain-like nose cones for the rockets. The company later started designing ovenware, teapots, vases, and a general line of pottery. They made dinnerware on special orders.
