The term "Distressed" is used to explain about furniture or clothing. Distressed materials are objects that are marked and scratched in order to keep an exterior look of age. The signs are unnaturally applied on the surface of distressed objects to show that the objects were in use for long time. The signs of ageing can be the result of use or abuse, weather exposure etc.
