Ductility is the property of a metallic object to undergo change of form without breaking. Ductile metals are those that can be easily molded or shaped. It is in fact a quality that is ascribed to metals that are easily bent or transformed into different shapes under tensile stress, without the risk of breaking. Ductile metals are widely used by artists to make works of art.
