Enamels refer to glass particles and other materials baked or fused on a metal or ceramic ware. Battersea is a form of English enamelling and cloisonné refers to Chinese enamelling. Renoir, an American Company made enamelled jewellery in 1950s. Enamel ware include ashtrays, bowls, beakers, bookends, boxes and card holders.
