Eraser is a tool used to erase or rub out drawings, writings etc. Small piece of soft rubber, plastic, cloth may be used as an eraser to erase marks of pencil, pen, chalk etc. to rub out something written. In ancient times, a kneaded piece of fresh bread was used to clear charcoal drawings.
