Erickson Definition
Erickson is a glass manufacturing company founded by Carl and Steven Erickson, who designed free-blown and mold-blown glass. The company made glass products from 1943 to 1961 at Bremen in Ohio. The company focused mainly on the designing of solid-colored glass with hand-tooled shapes and designs that were much-similar to Scandinavian and Italian designs. Erickson was reputed for glass products possessing heavy ball-shaped bases filled along with controlled bubbles. The Erickson glass pieces include console set, ashtrays, compote, book ends and bowls.
