Nanking is a traditional Chinese pottery made at Jingdezhen. It is referred to as Chinese export porcelain. During late eighteenth and early nineteenth century these pottery were shipped through the city of Nanking to Europe. Nanking was in blue and white color and was decorated with Chinese buildings and landscapes. Nanking had spear and post border with gold decoration. The border was influenced by European styles.
