Niloak Definition
Niloak refers to the pottery made at the Hyten Brothers Pottery in Benton, Arkansas. The pottery was in business from 1910 to 1918 and 1921 to 1947. The marbleized art pottery called Mission Swirl was the famous product line of Hyten. Niloak's Mission Swirl had red, tan, blue and brown colors in counter-clockwise directions. The Niloak Pottery also made jugs, crocks, and churns.
